NOMADS HFT CLUB
Welcome to the Nomads HFT club.
We aim to be the best hft club in worcestershire
It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce the opening of a new HFT club set in the Worcestershire village of Berrow Green, Martley. Nomads HFT is a brand new club opening at the superb ground that was formerly home to Worcester Air Rifles.
The club, run by the members, opened in August 2015 and has been welcoming new and old shooters from all walks of life. We mostly shoot HFT courses set to UKAHFT specifications but we are trying to expand the facilities at the club to cater for other shooting disciplines and for those that do not wish to compete in any particular discipline.
There is also a plinking range with targets ranging from 8 yards to over 50 yards. Come and zero your rifle and work out your range cards. There are paper targets, spinners and knock-over targets to practice on. There are pegs to rest your rifle on when shooting prone and there are a couple of benches that can be used if you prefer to shoot sitting. There are normally a few experienced HFT shooters on site, who are more than happy to help new shooters with setting up their rifles and with advice about the technical aspects of airgun shooting.
Annual membership is £20,
Day rates: £7 for non-members and £5 for members, competition prices are as advertised.
Newcomers are welcome to come along and try out HFT, as well as juniors if accompanied by an adult.
You don't need to be a member to shoot at the club, you can turn up and shoot as a visitor.
Fees: To make the Treasurer's life easier, we have decided to set an annual membership renewal date at the end of the month (August 2016), with the basic fee kept at £20 for the whole year, but with those who joined after December 31st. paying £15, those who joined after March 31st £10, and those who joined after June 30th. £5.
We now have a tea urn and generator so we will be able to offer hot tea and coffee to the shooters. We are also working on the car parking area to make it suitable for year around use. Basically as the club builds up funds they get ploughed into projects to improve the club for the shooters. You can also pop next door to the Admiral Rodney for a meal/bacon roll etc.
We are delighted to announce that Nomads HFT has earned accreditation to the UKAHFT. We look forward to putting on events in 2016 to support the association and to welcoming visitors to our new home. We will be fielding a team in 2016 and looking forward to competing at events around the country.

Please note that there are occasionally people taking photos for the club website, club Facebook page and for an airgun magazine. If you would rather not be in any of the pictures please let the person taking pictures know, otherwise you may find pictures of yourself in a magazine, on Facebook or the website.
We do random chrono testing at the club to make sure everyone's rifle is under 12ftlbs (the legal limit)
